Our worship services have a contemporary edge. We use hymns and contemporary music, drama, video, multimedia and other visual arts and congregational participation to keep our services fresh and vibrant.
The Worship Ministries are comprised of many facets of worship and the arts. These ever-expanding teams consist of people who desire to serve God with their talents to the best of their abilities.
Here are many of the opportunities we offer:
VIP (Voices In Praise)
VIP is our adult choir. Their strength comes from their dedication and heart to lead worship. They lead worship services every Sunday from August until May. Choir members also have the opportunity to be involved in the special church productions at Christmas and Easter. For more information, contact Tim Bancroft.
Worship Team
This group has a passion for worship. They lead the congregation on Sunday mornings and in other special services during the year and have also had opportunities to lead at various functions such as a ladies retreat, worship retreats, and church revivals in the tri-state area. Entrance to the worship team is by audition. Download an audition form here and return it to Tim Bancroft.

Worship Band
These musicians accompany the vocalists and add depth and color to our congregational worship and special programs at Christmas and Easter and other occasions throughout the year. Currently our band consists of a keyboard player, piano player, electric guitar, drums, and trumpets. Teen and adult instrumentalists are needed. Contact Tim Bancroft for more information.
Lighting Team
Our lighting team not only allows the congregation to see what is happening in each of our worship services, but their work also pulls the services together and helps to set the mood and focuses direction to various places on the platform. Lighting techs are needed during each of our services as well as special productions throughout the year such as the Christmas Musical, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Eve celebration. For more information, contact Scott White.
Sound Team
Sound techs learn the art of blending sounds and the technical aspects of running a sound system including set up, tear down, and running a rehearsal. Steve Ledford heads this team.
Multimedia Team
A picture is worth a thousand words. This vital team brings us song lyrics, images for contemplation, sermon notes for comprehension and Scriptures to breath life into us. We are always willing to train others interested in helping. For more info, contact Robin Ledford.
Special Production Teams
These teams offer hundreds of volunteer opportunities such as script writing, song writing/arranging, set designing and construction, costume designing and sewing, publicity, technical arts, stage hands, stage managers, actors, and instrumentalists. The collaborative effort of these dedicated people bring our productions and worship services to life. Contact Tim Bancroft for more information.
Stage Managers
These behind-the-scenes leaders keep worship services flowing smoothly so the congregation can focus on God. They oversee the general flow of our services by organizing and directing the movement of personnel and props on and off the stage. They remain active throughout the service to keep everything and everyone moving by providing cues to those who are leading.
